Ladies Auxiliary Minutes

April 29, 2006

Meeting was called to order by our president Nichole Rehkemper.  Pizza was served, donated by Pizza Hut.

Deb Morris, secretary, read the minutes from the last meeting held on February 17, 2006.  Shannon Cotter made a motion to approve and Barbara Agnich second.  Motion was approved.

Glenda Barrow, treasurer, gave the treasury report.  At this time our balance is $2,540.19.  Glenda stated that someone donated $200.00 for the barn beautification project.  A motion was made and approved to give $50.00 to each of the 5 class winners.  Glenda said that she would talk to this anonymous person and was sure that she would contribute an additional $50.00.  Jo McInturff made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report, Kathy Huff second.  Motion was approved.

Chair persons of all of the Projects need to submit a budget as soon as possible so that this can be discussed at the Shelbyville meeting.  A motion was passed to give Peggy Carroll $200.00 for the dog show at the Fall Celebration.

A motion was made to have a “dunkin booth” at the Shelbyville Classic.  Nichole will get information from Barbara Johnson on this and all members will try to find trainers to sit in the booth.  We will have this entertainment on Friday night, the same time that we are cooking hamburgers and hot dogs. 

A motion was made by Deb Morris to have a “brunch” on Thursday morning of the Fall Celebration from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.  At this brunch all members are asked to bring along a lady that is not a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.  All of the officers, Nichole, Peggy, Deb and Glenda will give a short talk on why they are members and why other ladies should join.  If anyone has any other ideas for this brunch bring them up at the Shelbyville meeting.

Next meeting will be at Shelbyville on June 15^th

Motion was made by Barb Agnich to adjourn, second by Kathy Huff.  Motion passed.  Meeting was adjourned.
